Physical activity and sport participation in veterans with extremity musculoskeletal disorders

Increasing the physical activity and sport participation rates of people with disabilities has been one most important targets policy both at national international levels. The purpose current investigation was to assess in sports or activities among Iranian veterans extremity musculoskeletal disorders. Data were obtained from health needs assessment studies conducted disorders a 12-year period between 2005 2017. collected Information on analyzed using χ2 test, independent t-test, partial correlation coefficient binary logistic regression (p < 0.05). Studies 2644 indicated that 37.6% (n = 994) them participated least type activity. highest percentage 65% bilateral upper limb amputees. Results analysis chance decreased ageing while it increased “Disability Percentage” assigned by medical commission Veterans Martyrs Affairs Foundation which is responsible for determining disability rate Iran.
